River tubing in Khao Sok is a popular nature activity in Khlong Sok Subdistrict, Phanom District, Surat Thani Province. It involves relaxing and floating along the clear, refreshing waters of the Khlong Sok River, amidst the scenery of rainforest and towering limestone cliffs along both banks.
The tubing trip takes approximately 2 hours. Please eat before you go and bring your own drinking water. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please inform the staff.You should have a waterproof bag to put your phone or electronic devices in.
The distance is approximately 3–4 kilometers.
Recommended time: June - September (rainy season) when the water is high, making rafting fun and the forest lush green; and October - January when the water is clear and the weather is cool and comfortable.
Caution: Do not tubing alone without a guide, and always wear a life jacket.
