Discover Cheow Lan Lake
Cheow Lan Lake, also known as Ratchaprapha Dam, is a stunning man-made lake in the heart of Khao Sok National Park, Surat Thani Province, Southern Thailand. Created in 1982, this magnificent 165-square-kilometer reservoir is surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs that rise up to 960 meters above the water.
The lake is home to diverse wildlife including elephants, bears, tapirs, and over 300 bird species. The emerald-green waters and towering karst formations create a landscape reminiscent of Guilin in China or Halong Bay in Vietnam.
